Anyone know what the conditions are on Lower Fish Creek/Price River? The Bureau of Reclamation website shows the flows out of Scofield are down to a trickle. Can someone confirm this?? Heard any reports? Thanks!

That sounds pretty typical of this time of year up there.

This time of year you would have to come down from Scofield or up from highway 6, I'm not sure when they open access to the middle, I've done well walking up the tracks above white river in the past, don't think it get much pressure. might could call the DNR in Price to find out when the road will open 435-613-3700.

Sat there on Sunday for about an hour. Chub outnumber trout like 20:1 right now it felt like.
I parked at the dam and only saw one trout in the first two miles as I walked down. I'd hike down at least 3-4 miles before you even start fishing. It's flowing super low, like 10cfs or so. Scofiled is gonna be empty this year with how low it is now and how little snow we got.

According to the BOR web site the flow went to 15 cfs out of Scofield on April 1st so it will be easier fishing now. The other reports about chubs might even be understated. Be ready to feed the birds with all the chubs you might catch.[frown]
