This post is a little late, but it's been a busy week. My dad and I took the pontoons out on Daniels. We were in the water about nine, and we were both shocked to see the number of other fishermen on the lake. Most were nymphing, and by the time we left we counted fourteen boats/pontoons on the water. We decided to go deeper, using wooly buggers with sinking line. We had three hits each in two hours, staying on the east side due to the sheer number of people at the top end. I finally hooked into my first fish on the final pass before we left, a well fed sixteen inch rainbow. Not our best day, but still fun to get out.
