Pelican Lake info

We are thinking about heading to pelican lake this weekend. Has anyone fished it since ice off? Any info will help thanks Water temp, clarity , etc.

Water is up and last time I fished it (earlier in April) the clarity was pretty good. I don't think you will be disappointed if you can hit it inbetween storms.

As a side note the Vernal Sportsmans Warehouse is having a tagged carp contest at Pelican this year. They have tagged a number of carp and will be awarding some pretty neat prizes for those who turn in tags. You can take them with any legal method. Just kill the carp!!!

I saw today that the DWR had a contest or something there today to see how much carp could be taken out.
