A break from crappie fishing with a bass trip this afternoon. I might have to get the catfish rods back out soon if I keep reading about these great reports from the Nuke plant. Lipless crankbaits worked well on a windy day today. Water temperature around 68 degrees. I got 4 bass in the boat...but lost 3 more. No giants but some good action for a fun afternoon. I caught 4 species on crankbaits including a smallmouth...crappie...and a white bass. I also fished a plastic worm and a swim jig. Some of the fish were as shallow as 3 feet.
