Has anybody been catching musky at pineview. I have been out 5 times I get 1-3 follows but nothing to hit. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong. Any advice would be great. Thanks

I caught a nice one yesterday. We only had the one hit and a few followers. Just got to get your lure to the right one. Long casts help.

that's musky fishing.... Gotta get it in front of the right one at the right time. Very frustrating but worth it when one does decide to clamp down.

We've been out 3 times now with no luck. Even a good day for me is one fish. They are in there. Catching will improve within the next couple of months. But it sure is tough to fish will all the fun boaters up there. Heck I even had my lines cut by a fellow fisherman last sunday...

Last Sunday I witnessed something pretty amazing. A buddy of mine had tied into a 2 lb, 14ish" smallie and was fighting it while I waited next to him with the net. We saw (I'm guessing) a 50+" tiger stalk the smallie back to the boat as he fought the fish. The tiger made that thrash to hit the smallie right as he saw the boat and it aborted, turned sideways so we could get a look at it and darted back deep. Biggest fish I've ever seen in fresh water. We turned the smallie loose; she was having a rough day!
I wish I could have gotten a video of that. Crazy stuff.

That is awesome to see. Musky is about all I fish for anymore just have to keep casting. Last year was really slow for me only caught a hand full of fish. Don't want a repeat this year. I am going out 2-3 days a week. I have heard of a few people seeing some big fish hopefully I can find one on the end of my line this year.
