Haven't been able to go once this year and been busy(got married) to even check any info on this but I was wondering if the time has passed already for top water? I usually had gone to deer creek in the past. Any info would be appreciated!

I fish topwater bass all summer and into the fall. Should just be heating up, not ending.

Last week at Lake Powell, with water temps around 72-74, the TopH2O action was good when the conditions were calm enough to use this method. Caught a bunch of SMB and some largies.

Right now is the perfect time for it. With the bass coming off their beds, postspawn is one of those times you can get them in the middle of the day on topwater. Morning, evenings, and overcast days should continue to be good well into the fall. Some of my best topwater fishing was in October, so you have lots of time to enjoy it.
