Lake powell- Escalante?

Headed to Escalante next week for the first time. Anyone been? How's the camping/ fishing situation? We'll be in a houseboat. Thanks for the info.

It's a very cool area. You'll need to head to the back to find any real good camping. I'm guessing that the main channel will be holding fish throughout it. With the whole arm being fairly narrow if a boil comes up you've got a good chance to see it and get on em. Plus the protected canyon should protect the water enough that any boils should be easily spotted.
