Slow for us today. Caught a mix of about 50-50 cuts to bows. Started out trolling looking for fish. When we found em we started jigging but not much go. Moved a few times but did not find as many as the first spot. Finally moved into an area we found a few years back that tends to produce bows that we can usually catch bows on demand but not so today.
I dug around in the freezer before leaving to get chub out. NOT ANY!!!!!!!!!!!!! You'd think there would be some there if you saw the pile of minnows.

Thanks for sharing. The season is rapidly coming to a close and the fish are still acting funny.

Slow for us yesterday too. We managed 12 between two of us. We launched from Renegade at 8 and left at noon. Only two Rainbows and the rest slot cuts. All vertical jigging and a couple on casting out with a slow retrieve.I caught a big ole fat Chub on a jig, first time for that. Nice day to be out though and the wind cooperated too.

With our shortage of chub I would have been better off spending time working some of the bays for em.
What was your best color and type of jig?
Our best were 2 1/2 ' tubes in sand color.

Two inch white 1/8 oz tube tipped with worm and shrimp. After I caught the one chub my friend cut it up and used it.
