I fished there last Sunday for a couple of hours. The big fish are swimming the shore lines now. We can only hope for some colder weather. BRING ON THE ICE>

I fished Strawberry last Saturday. The water temperature was 51 degrees. It will be a while before any ice. The air temperature was in the 60's. Keep an eye on Scofield. It freezes between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Strawberry follows a few weeks to a month after Scofield. Strawberry is much bigger and deeper so it holds the heat longer before ice.

Perfect weather for Strawberry, it will probably be in the twenties or lower when we get there in the morning. Water was 48 degrees last sunday, I expect it to be a couple degrees or more tomorrow . Hope the ice stays off till Christmas. [Tongue]

Fished Renegade today, the water has cooled to 44 degrees, so we still have a ways to go . Popular place for a week day, must be all the guys or gals that work 4 day weeks [crazy]

Did you go out first thing in the morning? Just wondered if the ramp gets icy in the morning or if it's best to wait till sun comes out...of course there's always waiting for somebody else to go first[Wink]

The first guy gets a dry ramp. It's everybody who follows him that gets an icy ramp. When the first trailer comes out of the water, it drains water all over a cold surface.

Several boats launched early this morning ,no issues with a icy ramp. Maybe around 6-8 before we put in our inflatable pontoon boats. We hit the ramp a little before eight.

I don't believe there will be any issues for a few days, it was pretty chilly this morning. Low twenties, and not much above 30 when we left at three thirty this afternoon.

No icy ramp or issues at Renegade this morning after several boats launched. Must be a different ramp you are thinking of.

Lots of boats on the water at Renegade this morning ,we must have separated the men from the boys. I only saw one boat when we left at three thirty. I would guess there were at least 6-8 pontoons plus the fishing boats. [Smile]
