ice fishing willard bay?

Does anyone know if willard bay ever has any decent ice fishing? I catch lots of fish there in the spring and summer. Does it ever even get safe to ice fish?

Welcome to the site MF19. Yes, you can ice fish Willard in the Winter. Two years ago in Jan, the fishing there was pretty good. It all depend on how cold its going to get. If it gets cold and stays that way, we my be able to fish it next month. Here is a link to a post I made in Jan 2014, ice was 12" thick that year:
