Huntington 12/12/15
#1
This was my first trip ever to Huntington Reservoir and my first ice fishing trip of this year and it did not disappoint.

It took me a while to figure out what the fish wanted and how they wanted it, but once I did it was fish-on[fishon]. I had never caught a Tiger Trout before either and they are a beautiful fish. 20+ fish iced and several others lost at the hole.

A big thank you to the guy in the Razor who gave me a ride back to the parking lot by the dam.[Wink] I appreciated that more than you know. I was dreading the long trip back pulling the sled by hand.

Looking forward to a great ice fishing season this year!

Nice! There is finally machines out on the ice? Last time I was there, I marked tons of fish but couldn't get ghem to hit anything. About how thick was the ice where you were at?

6-8" of ice. A little top slush in a few places, but good solid ice.
