WE usually use white and smoke colored tube jigs tipped with a cisco tail. Sometimes a airplane jig , tipped also.Saw a few people fishing with castmasters but I've never used them there. LIL' help,LIL' help here! TM

The tail is the prime piece to tip a jig, but there is a filet on each side of the cisco that will also catch fish.

I guess it depends on what you are trying to catch, for macks and cutts I use salt and pepper tube jigs, tipped with cisco. I use a kastmaster when jigging for cisco but I have also caught whitefish and cutts while I was jigging with a Kastmaster. WH2

Year for last we had fun with chartreuse foxee and a pink rat finki dropper, both tipped with wax worms for Cutts, white fish and Cisco all on the same set up.
for macks I used a plain 1/2 oz. jig head hooked a #10 stinger to it and threaded a whole Anchovey.
