Cedar city?

Working in Cedar area and looking for some lake or river fishing in the area. any thoughts?

I fish Panguitch a little. There are other pocket ponds around. Minersville isn't too far and neither is Newton. Navaho gets mixed reviews, I think.

Are you looking to ice fish on the lakes, or are you wanting somewhere that doesn't freeze?

Minersville, Newcastle, enterprise, Navajo, quail and sand hollow are within 30 min of cedar. Panguitch is an hour and has better fish. Otter creek is a bit further and fish lake another 20 min from otter. All of those are good fishing. Beaver creek is a good place for river fishing. Also sevier and mammoth creek is good for nice brown trout.
It just depends on how far you want to travel.
