Utah Lake

Taking a bunch of kids out ice fishing tomorrow. I would like to go somewhere fairly close. Would be nice to keep them busy with some decent action. I need certain safe ice. I heard Utah Lake has been pretty hot lately. Any updates? Advice? Where to go and what to use? I've never fished UL so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks all.

It sounds like Lincoln Beach is the area you want to try (see pezvela's thread next to your post). I tried Am Fork boat harbor yesterday with no luck at all. The few other anglers there also looked to be searching for fish without finding anything. Good luck to you.
