Ice report from yuba

I would like to be posting we are catching 30 fish an hour. We have not maid it onto the ice. There is a 3-8 feet swath of open water,slush or skim ice all the way around the lake. I talked to a guy that had just came off and he said they had used their sled as a bridge. We drove over to painted rock and it looked bad. Looks like a lot of water on the ice real slushy looking. The gaps to the ice sealed bigger on that side. I am hoping a good cold night tightens things up to get out there.

The guys we talked to said they saw a few on the flasher but no takers.

By Sunday morning everything had refroze. Down at the dam someone had put an old pallet down so you could bridge there. I think that little warm up just messed with our trip is all. We did get some good shooting in along with some much needed RR away from everything, so it was not a total bust. I had to get home for some family events or I would of probably headed out on Sunday.
