Deer Creek ice??

Has anyone noticed any ice on Deer Creek? Any ideas when it might freeze over this year? Or will it be one of those years that it doesn't get cold enough long enough for DC ice fishing?

We've been ice fishing it for two weeks. The whole lake is capped and guys are fishing the main areas.

You bet, some spots the ice is 3" and sketchy. Close to 10" in the river arm up north. Enough safe ice to get out and fish in, rainbows have been biting good in the 12 foot water column.

I fished Wallsburg today. Ice was 5-6" near the back end of the bay, You could see where the new ice started. New ice was 2". She was making ice all day though, holes were freezing, ice was noisy. Hopefully the ice keeps growing at night.
