Hyrum
#1
Hit Hyrum today at around 1pm. The snow was falling and the wind blowing pretty hard. The edges were soft but if you move fast you can make it with dry feet. Started just south of the spillway about 30 yards off of shore. had some bites right off of the bat but they stopped pretty quick. changed tactics with little success. we started fishing with green ratso tipped with wax worms and switched to blue ice bugs. The blue ice bugs were the favorite but we were not catching or marking much. We moved closer to the shore to 10 ft of water. The bite was a little faster but not much. Seemed that everyone by the damn was having the same problem. It was just slow. We left at around 5. The bite picked up at about 4:30. All we caught was perch and we sent them all back. Better luck next time [Smile]

Only around the edges. No slush on the ice, it was too cold.
