Hit Rockport this morning. Parked on the east side campground. Got on the ice at about 7:00 Snow covered a nice slush that went to your ankle. Hard pulling a sled. Blue bird day. I watch Outdoors with the man catching them in 20 ft of water and five feet down on a green paddle bug. Which is what I did. Green, White spit on , yellow you name the color and I used it. Pink rat finkie. A green one I moved and I moved. I was on the east side which might have been the problem. it was very tough moving in the snow/slush I even prayed to the fish gods to just give me a bite. But they must have been at Strawberry like most of the people. I even went to the bottom with one turn up and notta . I don't like getting skunked. It stinks so to speak. So I am headed back up there tomorrow. only this time I will be fishing the west side Second turn in looks the easiest to navigate. Any tips? Should I bring the kitchen sink this time to throw at them?????? Oh and I used worms, meal worms, and wax worms goose egg??????? [fishon]
