I fished Caisey last weekend and it was non-stop action. But it depends on where you go on the lake. If you fish the opposite end of the dam from the spillway out about 100 yds and about 20 feet from the rocks (this area is shaded all day) you catch Splake all day long once in a while some kokes will be mixed in too.
Fish with icefly, whattacricket ...tipped with waxworms or night crawlers (just a peice of crawler) anywhere from just off the bottom to 1-2 feet off the bottom. For kokes they were usually about 6 ft from the surface. Ice last weekend was 12-18" thick depending where you were on the lake. We fished at this place in 20-25 ft of water.
If you want fast action and all day action you'll have fun here. All the Splake were 8-13"
