I haven't been out since 2/6/16 and walking through the snow was the worst!!! Is the snow still deep or has this recent weather turned it all to slush? Just trying to get an idea on what to expect this weekend.
-Thanks

The slush by the marina was froze on Sunday, only a couple inches of snow, walking was pretty easy.

Hey Dan,
I went up to the Ladders on Saturday and it wasn't bad at all. There was about 4 inches of snow on top of the ice. I think the cold overnight froze it but I left at 12 and Im sure it got slushy later in the day. But if you are there in the morning, the slush was not a problem at all. good luck!

Fished Strawberry today and even with the warm weather there wasn't any slush. It is all frozen and there is only a inch or two of hard crusty snow on top of the solid ice.
Follow the packed paths to get on the ice and you shouldn't have any issues.
This new storm could change things a little but I can't imagine it will change surface conditions very much.
Good luck.

Anybody go up today (Thursday)? Wondering on new snow depth with Thursday's storm. Taking the scouts overnight Friday and into Saturday and would like to know if I will be able to shuttle them on a Polaris 4 Wheeler, or if I need to just have sleds.
I'm trying to save a call to the marina store..... Any updates would be great. Thinking about a trip across the ice to Renegade, but I know how sketchy it will be if there is slush and deep snow. Those conditions are not 4 wheeler friendly.
