Any new information on fish lake for the weekend ? . How's the ice . Any trout action .?

Was at the expo on Sunday, and was told by the gal in the booth that they are still ice fishing the lake. She stated that there was some slush around the edges, but that it was still safe to fish. There was 19" of ice still, and she said the trout and perch fishing was still good. You may want to call the lodge before you go.

I called Fish Lake Resort and the lady reported that there is slush around the edges but underneath it is solid. No trouble getting on the ice. No need for a board to get across the slush. She said a ATV got stuck in the slush but they were able to pull it out.

I was there last Wednesday at the North end there wasn't any slush, but the South end was slushy. North end ice was between 20-24" solid ice with no snow on top
