Hit the 'berry again today, starting about 0930, and ended earlier than planned, about 1:15 p.m. due to unceasing extra high winds...I really wanted to get my young grandson into some of those bigger cutts, and today, on a rising barom. pressure, we did only fair...but we caught fish! Marina area again, ice still 18 - 20 ", and only 2 other fishing groups seen, and we all got blown off the ice at about the same time....it actually ripped 2 of my straps off from the bottom of my Eskimo, where the screws are supposed to secure the shelter...Didn't today!! Anyhow, we iced 7 slot fish, and I was really happy watching my grandson reel in a couple of those brutes...Nasty wind, O.K. fishing...

Thanks for the report, How was the slush? And how much snow? That sucks you had to leave early.
Thanks, Jason

No snow, and no slush...the top layer (of all the old snow) was also frozen, so this would be an ATV or snowmobiler's delight...we just walked, and enjoyed the hike...spikes not necessary yet, but could be soon when the top layer thaws and re-freezes...Guluk...

Still snow on the banks, but it is melting...We just drove down the boat ramp (completely clear) to off-load and then pick up again when we left...little water starting to show right at the ramp edge, but no problem for a long time yet...See ya there Monday...one guy said he was catching small rainbows about 20' off that ramp...
