Was going to meet SkunkedAgain today out at Benson, but after an hour of calm, that four letter word WIND came up and blew whitecaps all over the place. I got out of there with only one 12" Channel to show for my troubles. (And probably one of the biggest bullheads I've ever caught- still not picture worthy cause it's a bullhead.)
Saw some carp sneaking in toward the shore...it won't be long before it's game on with the spawn.

In had some cat luck today! I ran one over just above garden city[bobhappy]!!!
Aside from that, that's too bad that you got blown off the marsh. Sounds like I didn't miss much, but still would rather have sat through a windy day there than hanging out around my MIL![:/]
Let's hope for a better "next time".
Mike
P.s. Sorry cat lovers.....wasn't intentional to run it over.

I can relate with the MIL situation!
And I've also ran over a cat or two, hey...they darted right under my tires.
Mike we gotta get out there soon!

Hey Derek I had to give it a try even though it was blowen hard. Left the boat home and went bank tanglen about 5-7:00 and it was slow aside from some bullheads trying to eat my 5 aught full of carp meat. Didn't hook many but I missed a bunch. Did get my 2 foot carp for a bait refresh, but no channels for me. Knew I should have tried last night before the wind started. Oh well next time. Later J
