Anyone chasing the Beast??
#1
Haven't seen any Tiger Musky reports but i know you guys are out chasing them. I am finally getting my boat in the water this weekend - headed to PV for the shakedown cruise , then headed Joe's Valley the following weekend for a couple days of fishing. ill be sure to post some reports of our adventures.
Curious about the water levels/temps at PV , many of my waypoints were land locked last year!! are the crappies moving into the shallows yet?

Let the madness begin!!!

I haven't made it out yet but am getting anxious. When do the crappie spawn in Pineview?

I wish i knew! this will only be my 3rd summer in Utah . a couple years ago they were up in the shallows in mid may pretty heavy, along with the smallies
last year i was banged up from skiing so i didn't get too much fishing in til later in the summer.

I have not fished PV yet this year but will be up there on Friday or Saturday. Last week when I drove by the lake it was pretty much full. They could put maybe another 5' in there.

I am sure the Tigers are up and moving along with the Crappie & Bass. Just need to find them this time of year. I am not sure what the water temps are, I did put my boat on the water back in early April and it was in the mid 40's. I would guess it is in the 50's with some places in the back of the bays like spring creek being mid 50's by now. Maybe higher...

Good luck...
