Willard Skunk - 05/05

Launched from the south marina yesterday and trolled the usual rapalas and lipless cranks from the marina, to the island, to the feedlot, to freeway bay, by the beaches, and up to the north marina without a touch. Ended up dropping anchor and found a few cats on mussels and shrimp for my 4 year old boy. Wind kicked up there for a little bit and made it a little bouncy. Saw a couple bank tanglers land some fish (pretty sure they were carp?) by the north marina but that was it. Never did see a boat with a hook up.

Well finding a few cats, and given the conditions, I'd say that you got the skunk stank off - good job!

True! Guess I should have clarified, wiper, crappie, and walleye skunk!

I agree, cats are never a problem for chasing skunks away... especially from Willard... Wouldn't mind catching a few tomorrow and smoking them up.... Later J
