does anyone know about how many miles the distance is between Strawberry and Soldier Creek by way of the narrows? and is it something that can be done on a kayak? Thinking of taking my scouts up there this summer and making that trip but I haven't been there before. From your expert strawberry opinions, is kayaking the narrows doable for some scouts with a lot of energy?

It is about 5 miles but you need to get to your trucks so you need to add maybe 4 mi.
you may get run over if you go on a Saturday
I pulled two guys back to there truck, it was windy and they were not getting any where paddling in that little thing they were in. The wind comes up fast sometimes
and it is a killer.

Waaaaaaay back in the days before Soldier Creek, there were plans to have a camping area on the Tribal land that was going to be accessible only via boat. I don't know why the plans fell through.
