WH2 and Me 5/12 Willard

WH2 invited me out as 1st mate. We launched out of the south about 10:30. I picked up a Wiper just as we got underway and Curt kept crossing the area and we probably caught eight or nine more wipers in that area. As a bonus, Curt picked up a nice walleye at about the same location.
At the conclusion of the day, we tried for Crappie and Curt caught a couple while I experimented with things that didn't work, although I did catch one Wiper on one of my DIY creations.
I just knew that I sported the ugliest hat on the bay, until we got back to the marina and this guy had this gargantuous sombrero. What an ego bust that was.

Enjoyed getting out there with you too Cardell. As warm as the water was getting yesterday, I'd bet those that are out there today are doing good. It's only going to get better from now on. Here are the pics of the fish that went in the live well. Hopefully the kokes will turn on soon and we can go close them.
