Went trolling today. Caught tons of planters. But saw zero evidence of any bigger fish. Anyone know if there was so serious winter kill a few years ago? Used to be a mix of sizes in this lake.

I thought they planted a bunch of small tigers last year with the rainbows, maybe they're not very big yet. How do you get a boat on BC for trolling, I didn't think there was a launch site?

There are still some big ones lurking around in there. Just not as many as a few years back. Made 1 trip on the ice. Landed a 4 pound 22"er and broke off another at the hole that was at least as big.

I think there is a way around the dam for brave souls who wouldn't mind rolling their truck, other than that it's a haul the toon' over the dam deal.

[#484848]Trolling? ..... Wow what a man. I can hardly get over the hill carrying my own body, let alone a boat, or toon. However my buddy packs his float tube. With the rain, it should be real muddy and a ton of debris.[/#484848]
[#484848]What kind of planters did you catch?[/#484848]

I did indeed haul my boat over the dam. Trolled the big lures but caught only small rainbows. Tried gulp minnows too. I used to catch bigger rainbows too.
