I am looking for any advice on trolling techniques at Fremont Lake near Pinedale, Wyoming. Any advice on terminal gear, depths, location, etc. Would be greatly appreciated. I'll be up there the first week of June.
Thanks in advance for any help. [cool]

It's been a couple of years but back then I fished the north end , downrigger used to get rapalas down to 80 feet, also spoons. Healthy Lakers caught

Sounds like fun, we're just finalizing plans for our July Wind River trip, but we'll be on foot and coming in from the other side. I've found that krocodiles work well for me if you can get them down close to the bottom and alter the retrieve speed allowing it to flutter back towards the bottom occasionally. I like gold and orange streak colors. Good luck. J

That's kinda what I thought, downriggers deep with sizeable Rapalas.
Thanks for the information. With a lake 11 miles long and 600 feet deep, it's hard to know where to start.

And thanks for your reply also. I will be trolling with downriggers but will keep your choice of lures in mind.

Sounds like the wrong thing, but I've done really well trolling a dodger and squid for the Mac at the gorge and bear lake. I expect it will work there if you can find the fish. Good luck. J
