Just got done Mapping Beaver Pond. It's the largest of the ponds in the Arapaho Bend Natural Area. Just west of I 25 and just north of Harmony. This is the Image off Google Earth.

This is the Image off Navionics Web App https://webapp.navionics.com/...n#@13&key=whjvFzqz_S
Navionics will be doing some tweaking, I will update the Image as they do...
I am using a Sonar Phone and Navionics Boating USA to make the maps. Lots of fun!

Thanks for sharing this map Dave. Did you move to Colo or just fishing there now?

No Curt we are still here in WY just like to hit the Pouder River Natural Areas. Really cool concept CO came up with. They took old Gravel Quarries and dressed them up, put in trees walking bike riding trails. Then after doing research on which types of natural foods live there, they planted the types of fish that would thrive there! Something I wish other states would try rather than the just throwing fish into water and if they live they live that it seems some states do. This is the Pond Assessment that CO did that explains it all.

Really a nice quiet out of the way spots to fish close to home for some fantastic warm water species!

I had to google that place and saw it was about an hour from your place. I was just thinking it was a lot farther. Looks like Colo did a good job on that place. Utah has been talking about doing something just like that at the mouth of Weber canyon when they finally get done with the guarries there but so far that hasn't happened, mainly because the quarries keeps expanding the area. Cool idea though.

Yes I wish more states would open more waste lands to outdoor activities.
