Fished Willard this morning from 6-12. We trolled rattle traps and crankbaits. Kinda slow fishing today. Only caught 1 walleye and 1 wiper. Blue/Silver rattle trap worked for us. The carp were tearing it up pretty good on the surface near submerged trees. Wish I had a bow setup for that...

Hi guys, was the south fish cleaner open by chance? I'd like to hit the islands but don't want to go to the north ta clean um. Also who knows if the crappie are hitten up north? Last year it was packed. Thanks, good fishin

On Friday the South cleaning station was still close, as was the new vault toilet, right beside it. Haven't heard anything about the crappie, other than we caught one trolling on Fri.

SkunkedAgain- Water level is still rising about a foot a week, water is still coming in at near full force. That will likely change this week with the temps predicted to be in the mid to upper 80's.
