ready for christening and maiden run
#1
I have been wanting to get a kayak for a long time now for both fishing and duck hunting but could never find a deal I really liked. I found a great price on a ksl deal for brand new models and I'm ready to fish after adding a few things.
Come Sept it will be time to turn it into a duck slayer.
I still need to build a small cart to move it to the water and back. I was going to build a simple scupper post cart but the holes in these are tiny.

The holes are bigger than they look. There is a lot of extra plastic from the molding process that can be cut out. Use a utility knife and cut an "X" in from the middle then push the pvc through. It doesn't take much pressure to cut the excess and the blade will stop where the actual joined halves meet. You should have no problems with 1/2 or even 3/4 PVC.
