Mantua 8/8/16

Headed up to Mantua after work and arrived at 1730hrs. I haven't been up there in a month or so and the conditions were very different. Pea soup about sums it up, the lake is turning over. Fishing for perch/gills was useless but the trout seemed to be jumping although I didn't attempt to catch any slimmers. I would imagine some time is needed before Mantua will clear up probably nearer to the fall....had I known the conditions I would not have made the trip.

New to the bft, I've enjoyed reading all the great fishing reports for a couple of years thought it time I joined in. I went to Mantua on the 9th caught 1 small lmb, not worth fishing for a while.
