Does anybody fish out the towards the end of next month?

Are the weeds as bad as I have been told that they are until it cools off?

The weeds and the bugs are still a big problem, however, you can have some great fishing if you learn to punch the mats of weeds or fish frogs on the top. LMB will blow through the mats to get your bait. You will miss a lot of fish, but the show is incredible. you will catch enough to keep it interesting, but seeing them blow holes in the mats will keep you there !!

Spent a few trips out there this spring learning how to fish frogs and had a blast until the reeds really started growing and the fish spread out. Hard to cover much ground in a float tube.

And I hear ya about missing a bunch of fish. It can be frustrating and fun to watch that fish come flying out of the water with your lure in its mouth and still miss it when you set the hook.
