This summer has been relentless heat. I believe the algae will go away once it cools off. In late May we went from the 70 deg weather, skipped the 80's and went straight into the 90's. Then 100 deg weather in June, July, and August. And the night time temps didn't cool off. Today was 99 deg. Tomorrow 98 then finally down to the high 70's. We may skip the 80's and stay in the 70's heading into fall. It's been a rough ride but I think we are about to see some relief and the algae will behave.
