Strawberry Oct 29
#1
I've been remiss posting reports this fall. I hit Strawberry Saturday with a fishing buddy. We fished Strawberry side near Haws point, Mud Creek, and the ladders.

We landed two very nice bows 20 and 19 early. But generally it was a slow day.

We finished at 1PM with 14 between us (which is very slow for us).

DNR was surveying fishermen and apparently we did much better than most... so I guess it was a slow day all around.

The water was still 50 degrees. Hopefully it will cool down and the fishing will heat up through November.

Thanks for the report on the water temp. I was wondering if it had cooled in the last week..... NOPE! Rats.

Three of us hit the berry Tuesday . we got 47 all together . I picked up 25 of the 47. Our method of fishing was white, speckel white, and smoke colored tube jigs. We tipped everything with minnows lot of cuts, about a third rainbows and they were caught on powerbait. Was cloudy, slight breeze all day. We stayed in The Meadows. Was a good day

Those are the kinds of reports I'm anxious to hear.

I'm heading up again this weekend.

Thanks
