Thanks for the concern. We're back to guiding fishermen here in central Texas and we're really booking up.

January in South Texas is "show time"; i.e., boat & tackle shows, etc. Because it's the only real winter we have. But those shows are out of the way for now. I still have some seminars coming up this spring at Bass Pro and tackle shops, but for the most part I can get back to fishing.

The next really big event is our Annual Canyon Lake Team Bass Tournament. Saturday, March 6. Early registration is being conducted at Fisherman's Corner, 21910 FM 306 & Potters Creek Road or call (210) 213-2534. $100.00 entry fee/boat or team. Guaranteed no less than $1,000.00 for first place, $250.00 for big largemouth, $250.00 for big smallmouth.

Then in April we have the crappie spawn in this area. Already booking trips for that! But this morning we're headed to Canyon Lake to chase stripers, white bass, largemouth and the smallmouth. Our trips are producing between 40 & 50 fish each for our clients with white bass up to 3 lbs. and stripers averaging 22"-30".

Thanks for the reply Jim.
I hope the shows wher full of events to create that fishing feever that most of us need to get us back out on the water after the weather clears. I keep looking for info on any of the shows but have been unseccesfull in locating them untill after the event has passed. Any time you have note of any shows or other events I would appreciate it if you post them or send me info by pm. This information is realy important to the anglers of The great Lone Star State.
It is great to here that the fishing is getting back up to speed in your area and look forward to your great reports to keep us all wishing we wher right there catching with you.
