Made it out on the ice with a friend and his little boy. We did not move much, just hung out in the shack. Found lots of little dink perch and bass. Couldn't locate any gills but then again I wasn't moving like I usually do. Anyways, I wouldn't say it was hot fishing, but lots of bites to keep the kid alert. Did nail an awesome large mouth bass that gave my UL rod a fight. Right before we left I put on a jigging spoon tipped with waxies and found a few perch to take home and caught another dandy perch that was released. I love fishing jigging spoons. Let it flutter to the bottom and the give it some good tips up about a foot and if the fish are active they will follow and slam the spoon.

Go to the Utah main directory under state forums, then look down the menu to contests... Click on that forum, then as you open it there will be some rules at the top in a post that is stuck to the top of the list... Read the rules and just reply and say you want to take part... Then print a label that you'll need for posting the result pictures... look at a few of the posts listed under ice fishing challenge, that will show you what you need to do to make an entry... If you still have the fish in one piece and can get them on the ice for a picture you can still enter them, but if not and you don't have them next to a tape, you probably can't enter them...
