Lost Dog Report

Had a slow day at the confluence. Didn't mark to many fish and the ones I did mark weren't too interested. Ended up icing 7 Mac pups and a couple a trout. Fished in 65 feet of water. Had to jump a big open pressure ridge to get out to the deep water. Butt pucker moment for sure. Please be aware that if you come in on the lost dog road that ridge is a real obstical when going for macs.

Best part of the day was this nice 25" brown. First brown at flaming gorge and my personal best brown through the ice. He was super aggressive. Hit 5 or 6 times before I finally connected. Only aggressive fish I marked all day.

Wow nice fish, dare I say I love it doesn't have the big ugly hook jaw. I know that's sac religious but that sure is a pretty fish. Thanks for a great report. J

Great brown. Not many nice ones left in the Gorge nowadays.
