I'd like to get there myself, but I'm afraid by not going this morning I won't get there today... Good luck the warming and the storm moving in will hopefully make it good this afternoon... Later J

Last week Ice around the northeast day use area was 7" to about half way out then suddenly drops off to 4" (last area to freeze). We did good along the north and east shoreline from the buoys back to the inlet for trout and perch. Fished out from the boatramp 01/06 and it was 4" of 50/50 white/clear ice under 4" of slush under varying depths of snow from drifting. If you find an area where most of the snow is blown off then the slush is firm enough to stay on top of. We just piled and packed snow into the slush till it hardened up once we found fish on the finder.

I got there about 930 this morning -20 degrees, left about 330 -9 degrees!! Expect about 30+" of snow, several inches of slush about 9" of ice fishing was decent I got 50-60 perch and 3 rainbows in 18' of water!
