Thank you everyone for all the great reports! Fishing was the same as everyone else has reported over the last few weeks. We arrived over by the boat ramp at about 10:45 AM and the temperature was -17° from what my truck said. Ice was around 80 inches thick with 2 inches of slush and 2 inches of snow on top. Having the ice tent and heater was a must and my wife and kids stayed comfortable the whole time we were there. We caught a pile of perch between the four of us on the usual small ice flies and mealworms with perch eyeballs and managed to catch one 15 inch rainbow on a small white tube jig with chub meat. We caught the rainbow about 12 feet under the ice in 39 feet of water, and all the perch were within 3 feet of the bottom. It was a great day with the family and I was glad to see the Smiles on their faces. Hope this helps and good luck everyone!

Goodonya! For taking your wife and kids out.....When you're younger you're not really thinking about making memories for yourself and kids, but you are.....and you, and they, will remember these events as you, and they, get a lot older, like me, and a lot of other 'old codgers' on this site....Keep it up, and Guluk...

We had about the same day as you, fished in 32' as soon as my Ratfinkie hit bottom, fish on, we must have landed a hundred between me and my buddy, I managed two decent Bows' also. Fun but I get bored with Perch, maybe Lost Creek froze this week.
