Rockport and Echo unsafe edges

I attempted to get on both Rockport and Echo this morning. There is about 10 feet of unsafe ice. I could not get out any farther to see if it got any better after that. I got wet past my knees at both places in multiple attempts.

So from the shore to about 10 feet out is unsafe ice at Echo. That's no good I was going to head up there this weekend. Where were you trying to get onto the ice at. The boat ramp?

Thanks for the update sir. Sucks to hear, but thank you for taking one for the team and posting your results for the rest of us to avoid the heart ache while standing on the beach. I almost headed that way myself this morning, but in fear for what I would find I opted for chucker hunting instead...
