Was this before all the snow storms or recent? I was thinking about heading there this weekend.

Nice video! Good to see that lake is still alive. I used to catch lots of nice crappie, bluegill, perch and LM bass through the ice when I lived out that way 10 years ago. I really miss that fishing hole. The few reports I hear make it sound like it's been a dead hole for a while now -- thanks for the renewed hope. Now that I'm in Vernal, I'm really hoping the crappie do well in Red Fleet. I haven't had a "crappie" fishing day for way too long now.

Looks like a great time! I've never caught crappie out here in Utah.

Great video.
Thanks for sharing.
It appears that you are fishing pretty shallow. Do you find that during the day the crappie are in more shallow water? It seems that the night fishing is typically done in deep water.

Great video, it was almost like being there, minus the frozen fingers.

Thanks everyone for the compliments, it's kind of fun putting those videos together.
Blackham- as far as the depth goes, we were marking fish pretty consistently in about 16 feet of water, fish were right off the bottom. I haven't fished for Crappie a lot, so I can't tell you more about their habits, but it seems that they head for basins, or the deeper parts of the lake in the winter months from what I've read. Good luck out there!
