Fishing wasn't particularly fast midday but yes it caught fish. Sometimes with a teenager just leaving before noon is an accomplishment. But you know how it goes only tried out the 2 wt line on the 1 wt rod. If I can cast it fine on a 5'8" rod I'm thinking there won't be any problem with the 7' rod at all. When I read reviews on the intermediate line the bigger complaints with the lower weights was it didn't sink. I'll see how it goes when I get a chance. [signature] |
