]I guess that I shouldn't be taking about politics or religion, however one can't blame the president whoever he is for the gas prices. Here in Calif. they keep passing laws on how gasoline must be refined inorder to keep the polution down. Should have passed a law about all the fires we had last winter. That added more polution than two packs of cigarettes would have.These laws add additional costs to the gas price. Plus the state taxes on gas - oh well you get the idea. Calif pumps and refines its own oil so why the heck did I have to pay #2.29/gal today where back east they are getting $1.99 for premium. Housing? Would you believe the medium price for home in Orange county [where Disneyland is located] is $475,000. That is half of the homes are above and below this price. All the new homes going up in my area are all selling for over 1 Million. If things are so glummy why are people setting up camp and waiting on line when a new development is started. By the way when was the last time that you heard about tract homes selling for more than a million. Home building here is going on stronger than ever. They are not being built by ghosts.
