Devil's Creek Res
#3
Welcome to the Idaho board and BFT pinetar. Don't forget to come back and post here once and a while. I fished Devil Creek Reservoir along with several other reservoirs in the Malad area a little less than two weeks ago. Here's a link to my report that should be able to answer most of your questions. I'm also going fishing latter today. If a friend doesn't give me a call back within the next hour or so I might go fishing around Malad.

In my report I forgot to mention that I only fished there for an hour and fifteen minutes and that there was still a fair amount of ice on the Devils Creek. It was about 30% ice free, most of the shoreline had open water and the ice was about 30-50 yards from the shore. It was also really muddy along the shoreline. The F&G don't plan on stocking Devil's Creek this month but there are still plenty of carry over fish from last year.

Also don't forget to write a report if you fish in Idaho sometime before April 15th and you might win some mooseunlimited lures. Check out this link for details on the contest.
