Well, it just looks big. The opening is 15" and the handle is 12''. I went with the longer handle because I taught that it maybe easier to use the net from the shore without
going into water.
Would you have a picture of that belt loop net,please ?

Looks good.
I attached my net with the zip as well but after tugging on it for a few months the zip broke. Not I use two and carry a small extra zip just in case. Doesn't take up any room and can be used for other repairs.
