I too was down there. Fished the 27th through the 30th. Caught all kinds of fish except macs. I saw search and rescue getting the guy off the ice. We fished the dr creek side Sat and did pretty good. the days total was 35 Ice a solid 12 plus inches. Sunday fished eastside same success ice 15". Hit the deeper water for macs but to no evail. Monday Fished by twin creeks and action was hot. If not for that spot I would have lost the fishing tourney between me and bro-in-law. I got lucky and came out on top. There was 4-5 Inches of ice at the creek and it looked like the rest of the lake had capped if the wind and sun don't destroy it. All in all awesome trip had a blast and able to finally take my son with me.. He hit the age where he has finally got thhe hang of it and can do most things by himself such a good feeling.
